The extras allow you to create reports, add your contacts, read news feeds, create a shopping list, add a to-do list, track rental properties, keep home inventory, and more.

Oh, and it's free. Well there are the Google ads, but you can pay for a subscription to remove the ads if they bother you. They don't seem to bother me yet.
