The Gift That Keeps on Re-Gifting
Sunday, November 27, 2005

Picked her up to give away at a White Elephant party in 2003. She's a highly refelective, metallic-painted angel soap dispenser. Her dispenser pump doesn't fit very well, so it's a little lop-sided. She came back to us at last year's party. And she'll be wrapped up and ready to go to a new home at this year's party.

We keep the rules of the White Elephant simple:
• If you want to participate, bring a wrapped gift
• Gifts may be new, used or re-gifted
• Gifts may be nice or tacky
• No new gift over $5
• Draw numbers to see who goes first
• When your turn comes, you may pick a gift from the lot or trade/steal something from someone who has already had a turn.
• No trading/stealing a gift more than 3 times

Most memorable gifts from the past:
• The Happy Hamster
• Singing and hip-swinging Santa
• The angel soap dispenser featured here
• Holographic, Anne Geddes knock-off baby photo
• The Three Stooges animatronic golf toy
• Classic whoppee cushion
